A Saxophonist by Passion
Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember – today I perform as a professional saxophonist at weddings, corporate events and special occasions in Cologne and Düsseldorf, throughout Germany and regularly abroad as well.
Born in 1997, I am originally from Langenfeld and now live near Düsseldorf. I have been passionate about music since childhood. I had my first saxophone lessons at the age of ten with Torsten Lehmen.
From 2015 to 2019, I studied jazz & pop saxophone in Arnhem (NL). During that time, I played in various bands and line-ups, gained a great deal of stage experience and developed my own musical style – shaped by jazz, soul and funk as much as by modern pop, house and electronic music. Alongside the saxophone, I also took up the piano and flute during my studies.
Music That Connects: Live Performance with Feeling and Energy
Alongside performing, I worked for many years as a music and saxophone teacher – at schools, music schools and in private lessons. Since 2024, however, I have put this on hold and now focus entirely on events, live performances and my own projects.
Musically, my focus today is mainly on modern live music for events. For me, it is not about simply playing a fixed programme. I always try to read the mood on the night and play exactly what works in that moment. Sometimes that means relaxed saxophone sets in the background at a reception or dinner – and sometimes, just a few hours later, I am right in the middle of the guests on the dance floor.
An important part of this is also my DJ + Sax project with Lukas. We have been playing together at weddings and events for many years and are perfectly attuned to each other musically. Instead of pre-planned standard sets, we shape every evening flexibly and adapt the music, live saxophone and energy to the guests and the moment.
What always matters most to me in the end is exactly this: connecting with people through music, creating atmosphere and turning an event into an evening to remember!
Stalaxy – My Own Saxophone
Alongside my work as a musician, I founded the saxophone brand Stalaxy together with André Schnura in 2021. From the very beginning, our idea was to make the saxophone more modern and a little bit cooler – with instruments that not only play well but also stand out visually.
At events in particular, the look matters to me as much as the sound. A modern instrument often blends much better into the overall picture while also adding a special visual accent.
